Arvelle Jamal
Is a world renowned artist, who uses paint, and other mediums to create beautiful works of art. He has been studying the arts over the years to refine his skill set and create unique pieces that are thought provoking and beautiful. He operates out of his studio on the southside of Chicago, where he finds his inspiration for new concepts.
He was born on the southside of Chicago, where he grew up in a large family full of hard working creative entrepreneurs. Growing up he would pass the time for hours drawing and sketching away on any piece of paper he could find. From there Art became one of his favorite subjects as he discovered his gift. While attending Rich South High school he further developed his skill set and found a new love for different mediums that included painting, illustration and graphic design. From there he attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and tried his hand at several different aspects of Art and Design, from Fashion to Architecture and ultimately ended up graduating with a Bachelors in Industrial Design.
Over the past few years he has begun to reach back to his first love of drawing, and painting incorporating all the things that he has experienced in life to create his unique art. Using abstract color schemes to create pieces of art that look to be eye catching and inspirational. He believes that life shouldn’t be so stressful and uses art as a way to have fun and create a visual utopia that can help take your mind away from the everyday stresses of life. Using iconic images, along with a combination of unique colors to bring these images to life. Mixing loose, quick strokes, with fine detailed lines it has allowed me to blend and mix colors to create a style unique to himself. His works have been on display in shows and in galleries all over the country. For more information on him and his work be sure to connect with us via social media or on the contact page.
No matter the journey, you have to learn to enjoy the process. Gotta love the lows just as much as you love the highs.
